Night Rating
Description
This course provides the necessary flight training and flight examination required for an EASA Part FCL Night Rating.
Prerequisites
Minimum Age : 17
Medical Certificate : Class II
Previous training : PPL or LAPL with Basic Instrument Flight training required for issuance of PPL(A)
Theoretical training : Included in the course
Privileges
The privileges of the holder of a PPL(A) are to act without remuneration as PIC or co-pilot on aeroplanes or TMGs engaged in Non-Commercial Operations. The holder of a PPL(A) with instructor or examiner privileges may, however, receive remuneration for:
- the provision of flight instruction for the LAPL(A) or the PPL(A);
- the conduct of skill tests and proficiency checks for these licences; and
- the ratings and certificates attached to these licenses.
Contents
- 5 hours flight training with instructor
– including at least 3 hours dual instruction
– of which at least 1 hour of cross country navigation with at least 1 dual cross country flight of at least 50km and 5 solo take-offs and 5 solo full stop - 3 hours CBT attendance
