A Jet Orientation Course enables pilots to transition from flying on a single pilot aircraft to their first type rating on a multi-crew aircraft.

Description

It is an additional training mainly intended for pilots without any jet handling experience. It can be considered as a:

  • bridge between General Aviation and Commercial Aviation aircraft and environment; and
  • preparation course for a potential airline assessment.

The aim of the course is to make applicants:

  • familiar with jet handling; and
  • more comfortable in the cockpit of an airliner during simulator assessments.
Prerequisites

Minimum Age : 17 years old
Medical Certificate : Hold a valid EASA Medical Class I

English Knowledgeg : ELP ICAO level 4 or higher to start training

Previous training : 

  • Hold Valid EASA CPL(A) with ATPL theory credit
  • Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME/IR)
  • Night rating
  • AUPRT
  • 200 Hours flight experience of which 70 as PIC

 

Contents
  • Theoretical Knowledge course of 6 hours
  • Training of 12 hours in approved A320 or B737 Flight Training Device
