This course provides the necessary flight training and flight examination required by EASA Part FCL Instrument Rating on a Multi-Engine Piston aircraft.

Prerequisites

Minimum Age : 17 years
Medical Certificate : Class II
Previous training :

  • PPL(A) with Night Rating or higher
  • 50 Hours cross country as PIC


Theoretical training : 
IR or ATPL theory

Privileges

The privileges of an IR(A) holder are to fly aeroplanes under IFR with a minimum decision height of 200 feet (60M).

Contents

Option 1:

  • 5 hours flight training with instructor on an IFR trainer on multi-engine aircraft
  • 1 hour skill test on Multi-engine aircraft

Option 2:

  • 2 hours flight training with instructor on an IFR trainer on multi-engine aircraft
  • 3 hours synthetic flight training on an FNPT-II
  • 1 hour skill test on Multi-engine aircraft
