Instrument Rating – SEP/MEP/SEP to MEP
Description
This course provides the necessary flight training and flight examination required by EASA Part FCL Instrument Rating on a Multi-Engine Piston aircraft.
Prerequisites
Minimum Age : 17 years
Medical Certificate : Class II
Previous training :
- PPL(A) with Night Rating or higher
- 50 Hours cross country as PIC
Theoretical training : IR or ATPL theory
Privileges
The privileges of an IR(A) holder are to fly aeroplanes under IFR with a minimum decision height of 200 feet (60M).
Contents
Option 1:
- 5 hours flight training with instructor on an IFR trainer on multi-engine aircraft
- 1 hour skill test on Multi-engine aircraft
Option 2:
- 2 hours flight training with instructor on an IFR trainer on multi-engine aircraft
- 3 hours synthetic flight training on an FNPT-II
- 1 hour skill test on Multi-engine aircraft
